are there 0 stars? this internet provider seriously made me want to jump in front of a bus. i have been with it for a week and i am a thought closer to death every second. i have never been so angry in my life. money scam 101%. DO NOT use Telus. please i am begging you save your sanity.
You guys are the most horrible service providers on the planet. You suddenly cut me off of my work conference call where I’m being fired for apparently for overdue account!!!! I’ve been paying $150/month every month and have been a long standing customer for years. Jeopardizing my ability to work by cutting off my internet during this horrible COVID where even my mortgage payments are being kindly deferred, it is so disgusting of an organization to not bother giving a sh!t!!
I’ve tried relentlessly to contact customer service for hours and was finally conerceted to an online Telus person where after explaining my problem, she decided to disconnect me!!! I’m now stuck without any service or any help from anyone in Telus!!!!! This is absolutely unacceptable and inhumane.

I left telus and now two years later I owe money. $45 to be exact. I got a letter from the collection agency with no warning or anything. I closed my Telus account with $0 owing. This company is an absolute scam! Be aware future customers.
the tech was too lazy to remove the old alarm stickers from my windows. just tried to cover them with the Telus ones... now my windows look ridiculous so I just scrapped them all off and now I have no stickers...
the app socks and my cameras never worked from day one. the tech told me they were doing a firmware update and left.
I definitely made an error using them for security, I should have listened to that little voice in my head.
Telus takes lousy customer service to a new, unparalleled level! I pray that Canada allows a U.S. or other foreign telecom company to enter the market and promote some real competition. That's the only way things will change--competition! I'm dumping Telus for good!

You added a theme pack to my account. I DID NOT ORDER IT!!!! Now YOU have to take it off! And STOP CHARGING ME FOR IT!!!! I just checked my bill and it was added to my amount owing! What?!?!?
I WILL NOT WASTE MY TIME on hold or searching your horrible website to find an "empty" chat dialog box that won't allow the Chat feature.

You say that my email was blocked and that I should submit it again. Unfortunately your website won't send me back to the place where I can actually send a request - again. Round and round and round we go on your website and I still can't get to a support dialog box or robotic chat, let alone a real live person.
This review has requested my email address and I've given it, and I have checked the boxes to 1) Let Telus know, and 2) To confirm that the review is about my own genuine experience. Yup it is.
Not happy at all.
Maybe this will get your attention, but I'm not holding my breath.

BTW, if you contact me by email, leave me a valid email or phone number (without a 2-hour waiting period on hold). Don't just hide behind the anonymous emails.
What a horrible way to do business.
Optik TV no signal. Pay hundreds of dollars a month to Telus but spend hours myself doing the work to fix the problem. Troubleshooting and waiting on hold. They offer no apologies for doing less than nothing.
Can there be zero stars? Hours of wait as if people have nothing better to do...no straight answer whatsoever, getting hold of them is equivalent to talking to the prime minister.
Every single time i call i wait for very long period. they process with request and i have to call back as there is always, mistakes, on billing, appointements, information given. Telus is the worst i have ever experiences in service along with Bell
Been with TELUS since it was Clearnet. Their service has been gradually lowered year after year for the last 20 years. They are really setting the new low every year.
I have 4 lines with them and they are more busy getting a new client than keeping the old clients happy.(I am sure some guy got bonus for that.)
Now they don’t even answer calls. It’s just sad to watch an organization’s quality sinking like Titanic.
Worst customer service. Put you hold forever.
It took them week to activate my internet. I have to live one week without internet.

Ladies and gentleman I have been to telus customer for 5 years I broke my Samsung Galaxy S20 plus ultra 5G mind you its a 2000$ phone tellus was there for me every step of the way yes I understand they might not answer within the 1st call or even the 1st hour if you wait but I guarantee you they will fix every problem you've ever had I have had issues with bell I have had issues with Rogers I have had issues with kudo ,Tellus had my back since I became a customer and others using a Samsung Galaxy S3I just wanted you to know the people who were giving bad reviews are probably people who don't pay their phone bills don't trust some random person's word on here just because there getting salty because telus would not Give them an extra month to pay on a phone that they decided they wanted to pick up now I do not work for telus I am in construction But they have had my back anytime I needed them they were there not alive sometimes yes I did have to wait a little longer than I wanted however tell us has always fixed my problem weather it was a damaged phone or even wondering why my data wasn't as much as I wanted (I had a old contract) tells HAS BEEN THERE FOR EVERY NEED IVE HAD I KIVE TELUS SERVICES AND I WILL NEVER CHANGE MY COMPANY KEEP IT UP TELS YOU ALLL DESURVE A RAISE AND A BETTER RECCIGNITION FOR YIUR SERVICES THANKS FOR EVERYTHING YOU GUYS ABSOULTY ROCK???? ???? ???? ???????? ???? ???? ???? You have to wait FOREVER to get a customer service representative... and you have to wait for another hour or more for every issue you have. So be prepared to spend few hours calling few different departments if you have several issues. It is INSANE! It is a nightmare. I cant wait for my contract to end.
BUYER BEWARE. I signed a tv, internet and phone contract for $110/month. Got my service agreement in my emails and read it and they lied. My monthly bill wasn't going to be $110/mo it was going to be $290 and according to the agreement which telus will never tell you, you have 10 days from signing to cancel your contract with zero penalties. Read your service agreements people.
Next their black Friday deals are laughable. Currently 20gb of data in store is $75. How do i know They? Well this is what I currently pay. They have this same "deal" advertised for a black Friday special. They also have a Samsung package of a phone, watch and tablet with an amazing price of $85 for unlimited data. You save $10. In store pricing $75 20gb for the phone, $10 for the watch and $10 tablet. This does not include the price for the items and monthly device payments or other fees taking your bill to almost $250+/month.
Shaw is all included unlimited data for $45/month no hidden fees and includes all your devices.
